In this world the usual way you obtain things is through some sort of barter. You work, in exchange for your work, you get money. In exchange for money, you buy things. So, there’s an exchange. You give, you work, you obtain money, and you get things. This is the usual way that things work in the world. But there are things in this world that you can’t buy.
These are the things we usually talk about here. And the question is how do you obtain the things that you can’t buy? How do you get them? And what are these things that you can’t buy? Well, these things that you can’t buy are things like dignity, things like true love, things like compassion. And as we get older, we begin to learn that these things are more important than things that we can buy. And if we don’t have these things in our life, we become very lacking. So, we have to know how, and we have to understand how to be able to do it.
Now, the rules and regulations for those things are different than the rules and regulations for barter. And you can’t obtain those things in the same way that you obtain things in the world.
