When you meet a holy person there’s something going on that is extraordinary, outside of the realm of normal experience. What is it? What is it that when you’re in their presence feels different, and it’s immediately noticeable, and it immediately affects you?
Holy people don’t just speak, they vibrate. They have a vibratory nature through their becoming what they are that actually gives off and affects those around them. So when you’re with somebody who is pure and cleansed they don’t have to say anything for you to be affected, you’ll be affected through their, and because of their, nature. It goes directly to you and you can comprehend it.
Now, we are also vibratory, but the question is what kind of vibratory nature do we have, and what is our vibratory nature? What happens as we move around in between people? What is the reaction that our vibratory nature causes?
In order to begin to understand vibratory natures, we need to understand the impact of certain words, and the vibratory nature of those words. For instance in Islam, when people are given names they’re often given holy names like Abdul Latif, Latif being a name of God, Abdul Kareem, Abdullah, etc. The whole point being that you try to repeat that holy word around you often enough that it has some kind of an effect on you.
So, when we think of holy words we should think about what they mean, and we should think about how to incorporate that meaning into our being to the point where it becomes a vibratory part of our being.
So, when you use the word justice, for instance, it’s not just a word it’s a state of being. Can you be just? And if you are just then you become just, and the more you become just you give off a just, vibratory nature.
Mercy, compassion, kindness, love: all of these things are non-elemental vibratory natures that have as much impact in this world as the elemental world. So we should understand that beyond the elemental world, there’s this vibratory non-elemental world that’s as, or more, powerful – in truth more powerful than the elemental world. And what we, as individuals who are trying to become purified, have to understand is that we need to take on the vibratory nature of these holy words. We need to take on the resonance of these holy ideas. We need to incorporate those holy ideas through our being so they resonate throughout our entire being.
The Society of Friends, also known as The Quakers, got to the point where they would shake from taking on all of these resonances, all of these holy ideas, all of these holy thoughts, and that’s why they were called Quakers, because if they prayed, they quaked from the resonance of these holy ideas.
So, as we move through our life, we have an opportunity to pick up these holy ideas. We have an opportunity to put them into our being, and we have an opportunity…
