To understand love we have to take into consideration what our conception of love is. If we don’t have a conception of love, we’re going to have trouble putting it into practice and into play. So when we say love, what do we mean? Do we mean the relationship between a man and a woman? Do we mean we miss that kind of a relationship? Do we mean a relationship between a child and a parent? What exactly are we talking about? And when we talk about true love, when we talk about the love that sustains the world, what in fact are we talking about? What kind of love is that?
